The website lists a max write speed of 3.5 megabytes/second. That seems very slow. Possibly a typo?

I bought the 128 GB version from Staples few days ago when they were discounting it for $20. It was the same model PNY Turbo 3.0. It gave me write speeds of less than 1 MB/sec on a usb 3.0 port while transferring regular documents. I returned it the next day. I would stay away from PNY in general and specially with this model.

transferring small files is not a good indicator - you're limited to random write speeds not to mention USB overhead.

speaking from experience, the form factor on this model is terrible. You can't hold this by the side and insert it because he sliding cover is in the way and moving around. You have to push from the end only, and if you have a slim laptop on a desk, it's a real PITA. A desktop is better, but it's still a pain to use. Stay away is my advice....
