Shopko has the JLab Epic2 Bluetooth Headphones [shopko.com] (Various Colors) on sale for $69.99 - $10 w/ email sign-up [shopko.com] = $59.99. In-store pick-up is free.

These were rated by both The Wirecutter [thewirecutter.com] and The Verge [theverge.com] as the best workout headphones. These normally run $100. Cheapest I've seen them.

Available Colors:
Black
Blue Grey
Teal

Note: $10 off coupon says it's not good on electronics, but code worked for $10 off on these for me online.

These are great headphones especially for working out. I originally purchased the original JLAB epic Bluetooth earbuds from Amazon last June and they stopped working this June. I emailed JLAB and they RMA'd them for me and issued me a promo code for $100 and I purchased these 2nd gen ones.

So far they have been awesome. Super secure and at high volume I can't hear anything around me.....which is perfect when I'm lifting in the gym.

Thanks, I bought a pair. It's $10.99 for shipping if you don't have a store near you. Still not a bad deal.

The model linked to appears to be the Epic and NOT the Epic2.

It's the 2. Look at the description on the website. Original Epic isn't available in those colors and only has 10-hour battery, as opposed to the 12 of the Epic 2.

I bought 2 pairs of Epic2 when they came out in May. I wouldn't call these "the best" for working out. I do distance running (40 miles a week) and these buds didn't survive one month. They just crapped out one day. Back they went. I bought them directly from JLab and the RMA process was easy. Been using Beats ever since. The beats are louder, too.

The Powerbeats 2 wireless are awful, I have those along with the Epic2 and the Epic 2 are much better. They also isolate better compared to the Beats. The Beats have overpowering bass and the battery does not last as long. The Epic2 are IPX5 rated. Also, The Epic2 are plenty loud, I don't understand where people complain about a headphone not being loud enough, are you guys deaf? I have my Samsung Galaxy 7, have BT volume to one and the have headphone volume to nowhere near the highest level. I use them at the gym where there is lots of ambient noise and they are great. The Powerbeats 2 on the other hand do not have great range, leak sound and do not isolate as well.

How so? What actually went wrong? I lift weights and my workouts last 90-120 minutes a session and I work out 5 to 6 days a week. Plus I sweat like crazy and these earbuds work perfect for me.

Powerbeats2 are not aweful. They're very good and hold better in the ear. Being louder means you don't have to crank it up as much. Sound isolation is better on the JLabs but that's about it. IPX5 rating means nothing when the thing just dies. IIRC, it stopped working during a light rain.

I run, a lot. And they failed when it was drizzling. Just died. I bought it precisely because of the claim that it was water-resistant and that they lasted for 12 hours or so. The Beats don't make any such claim so I won't wear them in the rain. One nice advantage about the Beats is customer service. If I have a problem I can just go to an Apple store and they either replace the unit or give me the rubber earpiece should I lose it.

Understand.....I sweat on them alot and no issues. However, I never ran in the rain in mine just walked from car to gym/house when it was raining and no issues with the water contact. I guess each person's experience will differ but they are definitely comfortable Bluetooth earbuds.

Yeah, definitely don't use them in the rain. But their customer service is excellent. It's no questions asked.

Snagged a pair with the $10 off email signup code for $70.98 shipped- a better deal by $19 than from JLab themselves... hopefully they are indeed the Epic2. They sure appear to be that way via the pictures and description though.
