Nice deal Smilie Was about to post this and came across this thread while searching.

Current FP thread from 3 days ago was only $100 less (didn't include the $400 gift card, however). Here's the other deal for discussion about this TV. Thanks for sharing OP!

Thanks for the praise RevOne!
The gift card may be an added incentive for someone to 'bite the bullet' and make a purchase if they can utilize the $400.

Decent deal. Compared to it's bigger KS8000 and 8500 brothers, this model has 120Hz vs 240Hz, Standard vs Quantum Dot color, 3 vs 4 HDMI ports, and HDR Premium vs HDR1000. But a bigger feature is this model is an 8 bit panel vs the others being 10 bit panels, so the colors are going to be okay but not really stand out and blend as much as a higher end model (that will also cost you around $2000 currently).

Really tempted to get one of these 65 inch Dell TV deals, and save the $400 gift card for a 15 inch XPS laptop whenever a deal comes along, however long a wait that may be. Do Dell gift cards expire?

Second, are there any restrictions on using gift cards with a typical deal with 35% off MSRP? I know some merchants don't allow you to "double dip" with discounts.

Thanks in advance for assisting with my mission to get the TV and XPS 15 laptop as cheap as possible Smilie
