seriously right? smells fishy how all these same exact bags are always being posted with a whole bunch of thumbs up even though these cost much more than the exact same ones from eBay.

Fakespot gives it a D in terms of reviews. [fakespot.com] I'm kind of leery of these things being too cheap lol. If I had an old beater phone I'd try it out but not on my daily driver.

they should be no more than $3 per case, so not at all hot.

I've tried these before (different brand) and tested them by stuffing paper towels inside and weighing them down underwater with rocks. No moisture got in, I then took it to the beach and got some cool underwater photos and videos.

I do not think it's worth $7.

fyi. I bought these for usr at the Waterpark and Pretested no problem. my son was taking underwater pictures and his iPhone 6s got some water leakage which caused the speaker to be garbled. thankfully it dried out n seems fine. beware

I can't really speak to the price compares to other options, trade shows, etc. I bought a pair of these a couple weeks back when they were also $7. I bought this primarily to carry some cash, cruise cards and ID on an upcoming cruise.

I tried this in our local pool last weekend with a water proof Olympus Tough camera. I've found that unless I'm careful the lens/window winds up getting water spots and causing issues with subsequent "dry" pictures. I was hoping that using the pouch would prevent that problem, as well as adding another layer of protection. It works pretty well in that regard, but I still got streaming water across video and distorted photos in some cases. I'm not sure there is anyway to get around that when going above and below the water with a regular consumer camera.

That said... the product page mentions "A circle with air around the clear window, let the waterproof cell phone case float on water (if drop)". That is true, though I suspect the air trapped in the main pouch would do a decent job of the same. The downside is that the air filler collar interferes with the feel of the operation of the buttons on the camera. That may not be a problem for many, but my vision is such that I can't see the screen well enough even with prescription googles. Not so much of a problem if you can see the screen, but if you have bad vision, dark goggles, etc, combined with a camera which will fit snugly, if could be an issue.

In regards to leaking, the sealing mechanism is not clearly shown but on either side of the log are two dials. Those attach to the plastic pieces which lock/seal the envelope. It is a good approach, but probably makes it easier to have an imperfect seal since you can't see it to look for bubbles 'stuff' in the seal. Also, the quality of the plastic and mechanism is about what you'd expect at this price point.

The lanyard: basic white-ish woven cotton-ish lanyard. Not bad, but I'll probably replace them with something a bit more secure since I plan to carry money and ID in there.

I probably would have preferred a set with a passport sized version and another one slightly wider than this item. I feel like this item is too big to be convenient for cash+cards, but not quite big enough to handle a range of cameras. Though, it's probably fine for just about any phone (though I'd personally never put a $400 phone in a budget waterproof case.)

I don't regret buying this, but would like a better lanyard/clip and the 2 different sizes as mentioned.
