Pretty ok price. I use the C.O. Bigelow by Proraso. Bath and Body works always has it on sale buy two get 1 free which is $20, so same price as three of these.

What's so great about this shaving cream? I can get double the size shaving cream for around 2 bucks at my drugstore.

I don't know if this is different, but I bought the Proraso soap in the tub. It was 5oz. I expect to lose the tub during a move before I use it all.

I don't grow out that fast though. I don't need to shave every day.

Made in Italy and prob better ingredients than your $2 one.

My personal everyday soap is arko (stick form) and its a cheaper soap since I bought 12 for $9 and they each last a longggg time.

Yes, and you get what you pay for. I don't use this, I use Cremo, but premium creams may not be more money, just more comfort. Do a little research and decide for yourself.

I've tried all the shave creams and designer gels and always go back to Edge gel.

All the shaving creams that I have tried seem to be about the same. They all do the job and no irritation. For a good shave, all I really care about is a good quality razor.

A few years ago, it was b2g2 iirc, paid $5/piece, stocked up quite a bit

After using good shave soap/cream whipped with a brush I can't go back to canned cream/gel. That stuff goops up your blades, makes them harder to clean, and offers no where near the lubrication. I find it hard to believe you've tried anything good, and used it properly, and still find Edge gel better.

Can some one recommend a good badger brush to go with this?

Parker safety brush Silvertip works well with proraso cream. About $62 on amazon. Can't go back to shaving cream from a can. The difference is like night and day.
