Destiny TTK normal price is $30 so with 40% off should be $18+tax

BTW the TTK disc (also called the legendary edition) comes with the base game + all expansions so far (excludes the upcoming Rise of Iron).

I price matched the $20 Tru price for destiny then got the 40% off and got it for $12

$20 is my pricepoint for Destiny The Taken King, but with the new expansion coming out, might as well just wait for that to drop in price.

Cartwheel says it cannot be combined with price match, so is that a YMMV? Don't want to waste my time going otherwise...

Not the person you're asking, but it's definite YMMV. Like you said, pricematch and cartwheel normally can't be combined. Some employees do it though.

easiest way is to take that and a cheap filler (cheap gum, etc.) to cs ask to pm the game, ring up both items then use the cartwheel.

Thanks. Worked perfectly - I suspect they wouldn't have even cared with just the game but good to be cautious!

Destiny: The Collection (includes everything including RoI) will be released alongside Rise of Iron and will be priced at $60. So take that into consideration when looking at deals on TTK.

Also, the collection is supposed to be available to legacy console players for $40 who already have the Taken King and will be upgrading systems.

Take the game and some other items to customer service/return desk and have them pricematch and do cartwheel, they usually have no problem doing so.
