Thread Details

I'm in the market for a home edition license... I'm not a member at costo (BJs here), so I can't take advantage of their pricing when they have good deals. I came across Software King and they appear to be legit, but was looking for any other advice/info. I haven't seen any deals posted in a while for the home edition, so any pointers would be appreciated!

There was a two pack for $139 a month or two ago... I saw it here when I searched for "office 365 home" before I posted...

For the people that downvote for "not a good price", could you please let me know of a cheaper place to get it... I just have a few weeks left on my current sub... thanks!

you can go to http://www.microsofthup.com/hupus/home.aspx
type in your work email address, got MS office for $10.

obviously YMMV depending on if you are working for a company that partners with MS.

I have been waiting for a deal on MS Office Home Premium since last December. This is probably the best non-warehouse (Costco, BJs) price I have seen since December, at least based on my deal alerts.

Thus I thumbed it back up due to the price, but I cannot attest to this e-tailer's reputation yet.

Personally I was hoping for a bit lower price, somewhere around $30 off the retail.

For anyone else who does a search for Office 365 - I used software king when my Office 365 Home edition for five installs was expiring. I was able to get the good price and even apply a coupon code from a popular coupon site. The product at Software King is labeled "Premium" which I thought might be incompatible with my original purchase but there was no issue - I did have to carefully follow their steps because unless I clicked the "Get Office" button as though I wanted an immediate install the valid license key did not actually push the expiration date out a year. It does not make you download but it does seem to be an necessary step after the designated Microsoft web page confirms your license key is valid.

Net cost was 75.99 for annual subscription.

Thanks!
