Once you add the price of the keyboard to that $700 Surface Pro, you are at $800. So, like I said before, this item is half the price of a Surface Pro 4. Also, that $700 deal you are referring to is only available to students whereas this deal is available to everyone.

We are here to share opinions, no need to be rude bro.
Far better quality. Dell Venue Pro is a budget 2-in-1 laptop, like equivalent to their low end Insppiron Laptops whereas HP Elite series is basically their higher end Business models, compared to Dell Latitude and XPS series. Apart from that included Travel Keyboard dock, you can get the Power Keyboard dock which provides variety of connections including Display Port, extra YSB 3.0 ports, docking connectors etc.
The Pen is also better than the stylus in Venue pro series.

Linking the product sale since can't seem to find that in the OP.

One thing to note is that the processor is broadwell architecture.

How would this compare to the older Dell venue 10 tablets, besides larger storage?

Keep in mind this is also half the price of a Surface Pro 4. Definitely "close enough" for most folks.

Last time I checked an i5 SP4 could be had for less than $700.

Here this might help:

That is still about 2x the price though...

I will say that the microcenter deal on the Acer Switch 12 Alpha is a better buy. Full core I power, fanless, pen support.... Anyone considering this should check to see if their local microcenter has the switch... for 100 more you get so much more. Typing on mine now... Love this thing.

Saw one of these at microcenter and it looks nice, but battery life is too low and it's bit heavy than what I was looking for. I opted for Galaxy Tab Pro S off ebay for $600 because of the high-end scree, strong battery life, and relatively smooth performance. Yes, it's not as powerful as a tablet running with a Core i3 and up, but I don't need that much power for what I'm using it for. Already have a powerful desktop right at home.

Ultrabook? I don't like click bait naming of products. I'd name a laptop an Ultrabook only if it had an i5 or higher, not core m.
