Been using CORSAIR CX series CX430 430W 80 PLUS BRONZE for past couple months on my budget build and no complaints yet. If it craps out within a year I'll be sure to take note for these deals.

Would it be enough to run a intel g3258 and a gtx660 for dolphin emulation?

I use the same processor, different GPU. According to this [powersupplycalculator.net] it should 300W is recommended, so 430W would be plenty.

Last week, I bought the EVGA 750 GQ 80+ GOLD 750 W for $55, courtesy of TDMVP73. Now, I am wondering if for a little bit more, whether I'd be better off with the Corsair 650 or 750. I trust Corsair. I have been using the 850W version for five years now.

That was the best deal on a PS I've seen without coupons and rebates. I'd stick with it. The corsairs are good, so is the one you already have.

The CX430 is an awesome supply for many machines without older high watt gpu's and for any oem power supply of similar or lower wattage. Its quiet, cheap and it lasts. Great to have around for a spare, especially at this price.

CX430 review at JonnyGuru, a '9' and recommended. I've had one on its second machine for about 5 years now. No problems.

Would the 850 be enough for a 6600k and Gtx 1070?

A 550 would be enough for a 6600k + gtx 1070. The 750 would be more than enough. I would only go with the 850 if you are planning to add another gtx 1070 at some point.

Yes. Maximum power draw per PCPP would be 362W with a HD and SSD included. You could easily SLI the 1070 with a 850W power supply.

The RMi supports Corsair Link [corsair.com], whereas the RMx does not. Quality-wise, they are identical.
