waveHello SD people,

First time posting here. .

I was at local target y'day and saw this on the flyer. The offer is valid both online & in-stores.

FitBit Alta for $129.99 + $20 Gift Card. I guess people with RedCard account can get it for even cheaper.

This is the cheapest price (that I could find) for a new Alta. Offer is valid till Aug 27.

Well, I would say it's $129.99 + $20 gc. Calling it 109.99 is a little misleading. Great if you have other stuff you need at target. I just bought on this deal for my wife's birthday. Thanks

10% off coupon would work on this?

It only counts steps and sleep activity. Get Fitbit HR or Microsoft band instead. This one is over priced.

I agree. It's full price with a gift card. It doesn't make the product cheaper because you take money you can use everywhere and get money only usable at Target.

No probably won't because the gc won't be there on Sunday's ad.

fitbit hr is not garbage, but overpriced with short battery life.

Fitbit Alta is very difficult to latch closed and will randomly come undone/fall off while wearing it (lost one on a roller coaster, but also has fallen off walking and running). If you decide to get this you will want to purchase a replacement band that has a traditional closure similar to a wristwatch.

Thanks OP. I bit on this when you first posted earlier this week. I shop at Target all the time. So the giftcard is same as cash to me. Even though there aren't any coupons to stack with this deal, I ended up putting it on my cc with price protection. No coupons means it's even easier to price match 90 days from now when some retailer will likely put this on sale without the need for %/$ off coupons.

Xaiomi all the way, either 1s for 12 bucks or band 2 for 30. Higher quality, outstanding battery life and waterproof. Also their scale is superior. I own charge HR and the Aria. Fitbit prices are ridiculous.

I disagree, it is close to disposable junk at a high price. Me and wife owned charge HR battery won't last more than 2 days. Rubber band cracks near the plastic base and internal connections start to fail. Fitbit's only positive is customer service. They will send you replacement bands without questions. Guess is part of the business model.

These things have been proven to be so inaccurate as to render them basically useless for any serious measurements. In fact there is a class action suit currently against Fitbit for making unsubstantiated claims about their products.

Alta is not better. Atleast fitbit has HR monitor. Right now Alta is overpriced because it is new product. Better get Fitbit HR for cheaper price than this low end junk like Alta.
