Personally I don't have much of a need for AC yet. My Comcast connection is about 50 Mbps and I can stream 1080p movies fine over wifi.

Personally I don't have much of a need for AC yet. My Comcast connection is about 50 Mbps and I can stream 1080p movies over wifi with no issues. Also, I don't have any AC devices so what's the point. I think a lot of people are in this situation so they're still buying N routers.

agreed. none of my devices are AC, so why? I'm rockin two $10 routers that have been rock solid for 2 yrs for 35 devices a week when in laws visit. Don't feed the upgrade beast unless you have to.
