Bestbuy seems to have some of these on sale fairly frequently. Shouldn't be too hard for most to go to BB to test most items for fit, etc.

I bought the Logitech g430 for $40 a few years ago and all in all, it served it's purpose. Idk if it's worth the $5 premium over the g230 for those that don't need the extra features, but either would work as a decent starter IMO.

Some gaming headsets:

Logitech G430 $40

SS Siberia 200 $40 - price increased

Logitech g230 $35 - price increased

Logitech g933 Wireless $140

Roccat Lue: $19

Logitech MX Anywhere $30 (Great at $20, but not bad for $30) - Now $50, Not available for store pickup

I'm trying to figure out the plug or plugs these have. My computer head set uses separate Mic and headphone 3.5mm jacks. Are these like that? Or are they for ps4 controllers wth the combined mic/headphone jack.

I own the G930, and at least with these (and I think the other Logitechs as well), they use USB; no actual audio jacks.

I would not wish the G930 headset on my worst enemy. It's heavy, clunky, and it frequently disconnected on me.

They are just bad. I had a pair and frequent disconnects after a year, the battery life went to shit also and the microusb port broke inside the headset. Then since they used leather for the earcups, my ear heated up instantly after a little time of use.

The G430 has a mic and audio jack, and a USB adapter.

Call me old fashioned but I just don't like dealing with recharging or replacing batteries. I'm guessing the g230 is compatible since it lists as Windows/Mac compatible.

Good price on the headsets if you need to replace your current broken ones.

Seriously, stay away from these unless you're strapped for cash and absolutely need a set.
