Thread Details

I'm opening an account for my role as a SSA representative payee. My credit union has them, but they don't allow online account access because they consider it a security hazard.

Is this standard practice? I'd really like the convenience of monitoring account balances, running reports, exporting to Excel, etc.

Are there any banks that offer fiduciary accounts with online access?

I was a payee and had account with PNC
did everything online.
Only problem I had was when I told the guy I could no longer be his payee. The only way for that to stop, he had to bring a new payee into SSI office. They wouldn't stop depositing the checks until he did.

Did they charge you any fees, require a minimum balance, etc?
