I am requesting a refund from Target because I purchased one or more of the following Fieldcrest products between August 2014 and July 2016:
-500 thread count Satin-Stitch Damask Egyptian cotton sheets
-500 thread count Geo Pattern Egyptian cotton sheets

Anyone who purchased the products from Target during that timeframe can submit a web form to request a full refund in the form of a gift card.

Target Link for Contact Us (In the drop down select "Egyptian Cotton Sheets") and fill out the form. No receipt needed.

I actually have purchased 2 sets of these sheets this year, and wasn't impressed with the softness (i thought eqyptian cotton was supposed to be smooth?), so thanks for the heads up!

Any idea if they mail the GC or if it's a digital/e-gift card? We brought one of those sets a year ago...meh.

No receipt needed? It asks for your order number or receipt ID right on the form.

I actually own a set of these sheets but I can't remember if I bought them at Target or TJ Maxx right next door, and the receipt is long gone.

The egyptian cotton label has become the biggest joke. About half the EC sheets on Amazon are 100% polyester or rayon or something artificial.

You can also put the VN number from the sheets themselves.

Target has tracked these if you used a Red Card; I received a call on the 19th regarding them.

If you want good sheets you need to shop the four major Italian linen manufacturers. I only remember and use Frette and Piranesi.

Yes their sheets are very very expensive but they are the same sheets in 5 star hotels. they get softer with every wash, they don't pile and you will want to crawl into bed even more then before.

It ALSO asks you for the VN number located on the sheets. You do not need a receipt.

I bought these not too long ago at the same time I bought some 500 thread count Egyptian cotten sheets from Kohls and I could tell immediately that these were not nearly as good. I chalked it up to poorer child labor on Target's part but apparently it was the threads after all!

maybe I'm too poor to understand but if sheets get softer each time you wash them why don't the sheet makers run them through a few cycles and sell them pre softened?
