I'm glad to see that the 1070's are starting to come down to the price they should be. I'm going to wait a while longer before I upgrade though.

Sometimes people just want even lower price rather than the video card/ game itself.

If anyone uses the ibotta app they also have a 5% cash back in the Jet app if it's launched from within ibotta. not sure if it stacks as I haven't tried this redemption yet. but if you don't have ibotta and want to sign up and are feeling particularly generous, my referral code is: ojiutht

how are the minis compare to full size ones? do they run slower, or hotter? what did they leave out to make it this small?

Card Dimensions (L x H): 6.65" x 5.16"
They have less cooling to work with so they probably do run hotter. If you don't have a chassis that requires it, I say going for something full size is a better idea. You'll get better cooling, more overclock range and most likely quieter.

My GTX 950 mini was pretty quiet. My GTX 1060 is loud though and runs hot. Prob depends on the manufacturers fan. But i think in general a single fan has to run faster to get the same cooling.
