Was offered a $10 credit for trying wells Fargo wallet. No minimum purchase required. Only for android as far as I can tell.

No seperate app to download because wells wallet is accessed via well fargo app.

Phone must have NFC and it must be turned on, in order for offer to appear.

More details in linked website.

Which version of the app do you have? I got an email about this a couple weeks ago but I looked everywhere on the app and I didn't see it. I even checked on Google Play and no update to the app was needed. I'm on version 5.1.0.72 on a Galaxy S6.

I'm on the same version and the same phone as you. Log in to the app and scroll down toward the bottom of the home screen, you will see an ad like announcement there ,click on get started now

hmm... strange. I have my account summaries below that is Calcualte debt-to-income ratio
then i have 3 ads Click Bills Away, Meet with a Banker and Did you Know. Neither of which lead to the Wallet.

I thought maybe it was only for Credit Cards but in the terms it says The Visa Debit Card can also be used. The only thing that comes to mind is I haven't yet received my ATM card with The Chip. Could that be why? Does your Wallet Card have the chip?

Make sure you take screenshots and keep copies of any emails detailing the offer.

Wells Fargo offered a similar promotion for using a Wells Fargo card with Apple Pay a couple years ago. The $20 credit never came and when I inquired with Wells Fargo they claimed they had never heard of the promo. Wells Fargo also deactivated the original link where it stated there was a $20 credit. Fortunately a friend of mine had taken a screenshot of the promo (he also had to contact them to get the credit) and eventually Wells Fargo gave me the credit since I had fulfilled the terms.

I've got a credit card with WF, and I also see three ads, and no mention of the Wells Fargo Wallet.

I've got a few accounts with WF and have had the app for a couple of years and I've never gotten this or any other offer. I've only used the app for deposits so far. Not sure how to tell what ver I have. Samsung S5

I'm also not seeing any ads and really don't remember ever having seen any. I'd find it pretty annoying if my own bank added 3rd party ads to it's own app.

So typical of Wells Fargo. Thanks for the heads up.

When you first open the app at the very bottom of the sign on screen there's an "i" in a circle and it says "app info" that'll tell you which version you have.

I uninstalled and reinstalled and still nothing. They're not 3rd party ads they're banner type ads for Wells Fargo which show the services the app offers. This is where the Wallet Promo should be but it isn't there for a lot of us it seems.

Thanks, I see it now. It never occurred to me to scroll down on the sign in page. Ver 5.1.0.72 here and now I see several ads but not that one. Maybe it's being rolled out area by area...

I'm interested in the ability to pay with nfc/WF as much as I am in the $10. Is that already built into the app? I haven't seen it anywhere.
