Is it just me or is it rare to find a RJ11 (telephone) jack on modern modems? How many exist that are compatible with time warner? Like two? haha.

Any solutions for someone with time warner's voice/internet/tv?

My twc technician connected a twc modem for the phone line and my modem for internet with a split cable line. Probable a better way, but seems to work

they gave me a free modem for the phone. I suppose if they want to charge you, then you just buy a used phone modem off ebay

Both friend's places with TWC voice were given Arris TM502G telephony modems during new installs this year (they looked old/used).

Cool... but I think I'd rather wait for a sale and buy a new one from Costco.... since I don't need one right away.

Dual-thread (no, actually dual-threat) is very popular among teams in the SEC.

ok, joking aside, can anyone confirm if this comes with dual-core or one core with dual-thread?

Some heat and stability problems mentioned in the newegg and amazon reviews. Usually when something appears on one of these sites where reviews are not posted along side the product, I'm usually more skeptical that there's something wrong with it.

Thanks OP, probably will grab one after work. Been looking for refurb or better around this price. With TWC this thing will pay for itself in 8 months!

Edit: Actually not super great with shipping, decent though.

I'm using one of these while waiting for GF. 360mbps down/30mbps up on Comcast. These are great modems and should last just about anyone until either fiber or DOCSIS 3.1 reaches them.

good luck, its years away plus cost is prohibitive until comcast offers them some competition

I wanted to get the version above this, but then realized that without fiber, there is no need. This should work well for 300/30.
