The cheap, undersized swing gate carabiners sold everywhere are ubiquitous enough that it's reasonably understood they're not suitable for climbing. But an 80mm locking gate facsimile is really starting to take on the convincing appearance of authentic climbing equipment.

Regardless of what's printed on the sides of these things, some child, somewhere is going to try roped climbing with them. It won't end well.
