Straight Talk offers service with different carriers (Verizon, ATT, etc.). You have to make sure to activate a ST Verizon SIM Card such as this one: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Straig...E/42385148

Then you can use this Verizon Note 4 with Straight Talk Verizon service.

Does the verizon version have hotspot enabled ? Last time i tried it was not enabled by the carrier.

I believe that it is enabled, but only if you have a plan that supports it. I have a loyalty plan, and they won't let me use my data via hotspot. I'm about done with Verizon.

If you have UDP, then you can use PDANet/FoxFi to get free WiFi hotspot.
