This might qualify as a repost, but it was too slick for me not to at least mention. Best Buy currently has this monitor at $449.99. A solid deal on its own from what I understand.

Still too pricey for me, though, tax kills the deal. For those of us that live near a Frys Electronics however, this monitor qualifies for the "Frys pays the tax" deal (just have to sign up for their emailing list to get the daily promo code to activate it). Browsing the 4k monitors link below, it shows up among the list of 4k monitors, despite being only 2k.

I went to Fry's and had them do both a price match for Best Buy's base price, and then got them to also pay the tax. 41 bucks saved over the Best Buy deal. The clerk didn't think you could apply both, but I didn't have much time to mess around with this and eat lunch so I asked him to get a manager. They took the barcode on the box and the Best Buy printout to another department and came back with a new paper for the clerk to scan, and then I gave him the promo code from signing up for their email deals to activate the tax rebate.

$453.99 out the door price (4 bucks added for CA recycling fee).

I can post a receipt picture when I get home if anyone cares. Sorry if this counts as a repost.

*rolls eyes* Now it counts as a no sales tax? I went in the other day to get it and never want to deal with that BS again. Sigh...

Woodland Hills was the store I went to.

As for version, I guess I'm not sure. I was unaware of that until your post. Sorry!

Could you check the version? It's on the label at the back. Dell monitors have revisions as they are improved during their production cycles. They fix issues and improve the qualities.

Thanks, did the same thing today at the local frys and got the monitor for the same price as you did. Mine is an A03 though.

Thanks again for posting the deal
