I am a pc gamer and have seen these (they look cool) .. but does it help in terms of functionality in anyway? (a mouse pad big enough to slide under your keyboard)

Also, these are $18 at Amazon right now too:

Got one when it was 19.99 a month or two ago. It's pretty decent. I'd only get ride of it for a solid black mat.

Crazy, I was just looking at these last night for my K70 and M65. According to reviews, the Glorious Gaming extended pads are better. When you use these pads your suppose to calibrate your sensors for your mouse (assuming you have a gaming mouse) it will then give you the results, good pads will react more precise and faster, slightly lower quality pads will be less accurate etc etc. In tests the Glorious Gaming pad beat the Corsiar pads everytime even with Corsair mice lol. Still a good pad according to Amazon reviews but on paper it's not the best.

Not every mouse has the feature. I know my g502 has the option as well as other premium Logitech mice. Not sure which other brands.
