No brainer. I already have the trimmer, but this is worth it just for the batteries and the charger.

That was a good deal and exactly what I'm looking for. Right now, the two items is $76. I'll keep checking their ebay store, maybe it'll come closer to the $54 price point again.

Unless you have a really, really, small area to trim this thing gets annoying quickly.

Worx sent me some free replacement batteries and even with new batteries it lasts about 5-10 minutes with full power and then the next 5-15 are so-so. It has decent power, but it would take me 5-6 batteries to trim my yard..

I switched back to gas and I am now able to do the entire yard and it takes a 1/3 to 1/2 the time.

I bought the 32v refurb combo trimmer with blower a few weeks ago for around $100 from there eBay and have been very happy I have .61 acres and my yard is very landscaped I can trim and blow my whole yard and 3 car driveway with a single battery charge and it came with two bats. I was very impressed with these, wouldn't hesitate to recommend this brand it's my first time owning a rechargeable

I love when people make comments like this. I just bought a house with large yard and probably would have bought electric garden tools. Just realizing now I'd be much better off with gas. Thanks.

I use the B&D 20V, which is different than the Worx 20V, a different connection.

I use one battery to trim and edge my yard. I used to do my neighbors yard because he mowed mine. It took me just over two batteries to do both, but he had a curb on three sides of bis house, and I would edge the whole thing, since Illinois humidity sucks, and I'd do anything not to push mow with a $50 Walmart mower that doesn't have deck height adjustment.

I would get 20 minutes straight of time out of each battery under strain, give or take one minute. If these are the 8-hour chargers, make sure that works for you. I bought a Craftsman BoltOn drill with a battery and the rapid charger for $20. It was well worth it. These here won't fit the old ones.

I sold weed eaters at Sears, and I made sure I explained this in it's entirety before someone bought it. Some people changed their mind, but I never had a return.

This with a single battery runs $80 at the Sears here.

Yep, dead. I will never own gas again. If I had thick weeds or a large enough yard to spend 30 minutes weed eating, I'd probably go gas, or just use some grass killer, because I don't want to do that much work every week.

These do NOT work well on thick weeds or heavy grass. it will take a lot more time with that.

I just bought a WG154 for $44 and two 20v 2.0 Ah batteries for $44 (WG3525 vs the 1.5 Ah WG3520 that it comes with)
=$88. I got a WG153 with is NiCad and it is OK for me but this was for my Dad that has more to weed wack and IDK if it will cut it even with the 3 batteries. Is this WG163 better? Of should I have gotten 32v? Also do you just check Worx store dailey for deals?
