The new Cricket LG X Power is currently 99.99 LG is offering a $50 Visa MIR https://www.cricketwireless.com/c...power.html
Not a great phone, but it does have a 4100 mah battery. I believe the regular price will be 159.99 after the initial promotional price ends on 9/8/16.

Curse you for posting this, was going to do a LG Escape 3 for $20 for the wife which is now out of stock. Double the battery life is a real game changer!

If you have a local store nearby (there's a bunch of them in my town) they have them in stock for that price, I was just there on Thursday and saw them. But for $30(ish) more, this might be worth it, instead.

Looks like you don't have to sign up for service to get the rebate, correct?

Looking for a phone for international use; preferable a smartphone to hotspot.

This seems good, especially at $50.

Does this also need 4 month's service to unlock?

Edit to add: also, seems like the $100-50 price is only worth activation, which adds another $40. So, the cheapest the phone can be had is actually $140-50=90.

I just hope this isn't some sneaky way to remove cricket traffic from AT&T's regular network

nah, they can just do that in the network and it will be completely visible to users...it may be an oversight on the specs listing

Yes, ATT will be using the lower 700mhz band 12 on this.
