Digital download by Sega on Nintendo EShop. It's very expensive in print due to a low run. Usually $19.99 digital, discounted 75% until September 1.

I'm using the app to post this, and I'm not sure if I've posted a deal before. Apologies if I made any mistakes.

This is a decent deal, though I do wonder why people didn't just pick it up when it was part of the last Humble Nintendo Bundle.

I say decent because I don't think it's a particularly good game. It's alright. I'd go for Elite Beat Agents or Theaterythm Final Fantasy over this.

I got this from the humble bundle. Although it's only $5 I really don't recommend it. The VA is as dry as the story and the gameplay is sub par at best. Thanks for letting us know about the deal though.

This game was worth it in the humble bundle, here... 5$ seems too much.

I actually thought it was really cool, but I did play it with the Japanese voice acting.

Yeah I played in Japanese as well and I really enjoyed it. Voice acting can really change the feel of a game so if English was that bad I get why people didn't like it.

I thought this game was amazing at first. It was the spitting image of Professor Layton in all of the best ways, but the more I played it I realized it seemed so much more basic. Some of the rhythm games are just frustrating more than fun. (Although I still LOVE the violin one)

Even at 5$ it seems just barely worth it. It feels more like an indie version of Professor Layton and doesn't quite hit all of the same notes.

It's a good rhythm game if you're someone not into rhythm games.
There is a lot of variety to the minigames, and chances are you'll only really like two or three out of the couple dozen available.
For the ones you have trouble clearing, you are able to purchase cheats with ingame currency (which is really the only thing the currency is used for) that make it almost impossible to fail, so you can continue progressing with the story.

It's not really an introduction to rhythm games, it probably won't be the thing that opens you up to other games in the genre, but it'll be a rhythm game that someone with absolutely no rhythm will be able to finish the main story, and hopefully have found some enjoyment from.

As for people that are rhythm gamers, there are much better games available, and this will most likely just irritate you when the 3DS's gyro sensors fail to interpret your input and wind up screwing up ruining your otherwise almost-perfect clear.
