This is not the best deal for everyone, but for those who want to port into T-mobile with your own phone (without having to deal with BOGO 2 year contracts etc -- which is my brother's situation exactly), it is better than nothing. Maybe good for those who got cheap DDP Verizon iphones from bestbuy/target laugh out loud!

Have to activate line by 8/28 but can initiate port in by 9/11

http://www.t-mobile.com/bring-you...patibility

Can call 1-877-413-5903 or just activate it online to get extra cash back

This weekend only, switch to T-Mobile and get $100 back via Prepaid MasterCard(R) card!
How to redeem:

Port-in at least one number to a new line of voice service.
The request to port-in the phone number(s) must be initiated by September 11 and completed by September 16.
Submit a request for a rebate on t-mobile.com/promotions by September 30, 2016.
Wait 24 hours after the port-in is complete before submitting the online rebate request.
Enter T-Mobile Phone Number, T-Mobile Account PIN, and promo code: NATLPORT100 to validate eligibility.
Must be in active and good standing when rebate is processed and until validation is confirmed.
Allow up to 8 weeks to receive $100 Prepaid MasterCard(R) card.
Subject to change. Eligible port-in and qualifying service required. Max 12 lines. Not combinable with some offers. Customer must be active and in good standing when rebate is issued. Via Prepaid MasterCard(R) Card; Cards are issued by Citibank, N.A. pursuant to a license from MasterCard International and managed by Citi Prepaid Services. Cards will not have cash access and can be used everywhere MasterCard debit cards are accepted. Card terms and conditions app

Cheapest plan is $50 for a single line, so you're basically getting your first two months free, it's an okay deal for those of you who actually want to switch to t-mobile

I want to bring in 2 people to my plan and they want to keep their numbers (tracphone and metropcs). Will this promo applicable for me if I do it now?

Thanks. I'm on my lousy work BB so cant check the details.
Those 2 are in a different city and I need to hand hold them through this, give them the new phones, etc. Do I need to add the lines today and can I do the actual porting later?

Looks like a good way to port out the Verizon lines. Use be - frugal or top cb site for $50 for a new line opened on the BYOD pl

Thanks.

Btw, i also ported those 5 dpp verizon lines to h2o this week. If I port those as well to TM, I guess I will have to keep them for at least a month to get the rebate. But at $10 + $5 tax/fees a month, it is not a bad deal to get $100 back. If 2 months, then $30 for $100.
Is it ok to do these kind of deals with TM, any risk of any backlash like flagging or something?

When do I have to redeem?
To redeem simply request a port out from your carrier by September 11, 2016 and submit your redemption code by September 30, 2016 to receive your Prepaid MasterCard® Card.

Above is from T-Mobile website. What is that means? Do I can get my Verizon number ported immediately or I need to schedule this porting after September 11? In the forum says, between Sep 11 and Sep 16? I'm getting confused.. please help.
