New post and preview post in hot deals, server returning 0 bytes

disk 1,750 626 August 27, 2016 at 06:48 PM
I recently tried to create a thread in Hot Deals and when I clicked preview post nothing happened. I tried a few times. I debugged it and I can see 0 bytes is returned from the server. I tried in both Chrome and Firefox. Then in Chrome I decided to forget about previewing and just post it but the same thing happened, 0 bytes returned from the server. However when I went into Hot Deals I could see the thread was created.

Debug says: The server did not return a complete response for this request. Server returned 0 bytes.

Yeah, the same thing happens to me whenever I try to preview a thread. I don't do it anymore.

I just post without a preview. Half the time I don't even get re-directed to the posted thread after submitting. Usually I get an error message about the connection being reset or timing out.

The thread will still post after a bit of a delay... but not always.

Also, the same thing happens when uploading pictures. If I upload 3 or more attachments, I will get a connection timeout message instead of a re-direct. The pictures still upload, but only after I close out the attachment pop-up window and then hit manage attachments again.

This has been happening ever since the DDoS attacks. It is not just my connection. I've tried it on two different providers (AT&T DSL and Charter Cable).

I just tried to post a thread in suggestions and the server returned nothing. So this may still be a problem.
