The deal (20% off) is now also available on the smartthings website using the promo code LABORDAY
First time customers should be able to stack this with WELCOME10 to get another 10% off.

I recommend using Monoprice and Lowes Iris (gen 2) sensors with SmartThings. They're generally cheaper than the SmartThings sensors and sometimes have some extra features - for example, the Iris Smart Plug is Zigbee but also has a Zwave repeater built-in.

Just checked out the Sears app as well, and I got back $24 in SHOP YOUR WAY points netting it to $55 after rewards. I had $5 in surprise points which basically covered the tax. I couldn't use any other coupon code.

Looks like it's $79.99 most places. Had $10 in surprise points and $24 in rewards. Ended up getting it for $69.99 plus $24 rewards (and cash back, of course).

Thanks!

I've narrowed by HA choices down to Smarthings vs. Homeseer Zee S2.
Does anybody have any strong reasons for one over the over?

I have Wink, HUE, WeMo, TP-Link, and Alexa(s). I may consider ST since it supports more devices than Wink.

You may want to start by thinking about what devices you want to be able to control, and HOW you want to control them. Then you can figure out what hubs to get. I don't think there's one hub that will do it all right now.

I moved from wink to smartthings. The active community made the shift worthwhile. The platform is mostly stable; does go through some periods of instability once every 4-5 months; not a deal breaker though. Use it for HA, but not for home security

Awesome. Picked one up from Sears for $48.66 + free shipping, after using $20 in ShopYourWay Rewards and another $15 in surprise points on my account. Also got 5% cash back from Discover. And will receive another $9.11 in SYW points from the purchase. Great deal.
