Best buy has all 4 colors of the 64gb iPhone 6S PLUS (refurbished) at time of writing for $509.99 plus free ship.
These retail for $850 in store.
I got in on the iPhone SE refurb they had a couple weeks ago and the phone came looking BRAND NEW.

I believe the Verizon versions are unlocked for all carriers but the LTE bands dont work with Sprint.

with the last SE deal, i was able to call apple and they changed warranty date to date of order. all i had to do was forward them my best buy confirmation email. painless, 10 min process
I ordered one for $547.09 after tax.

To make this deal even slicker Verizon Messages currently have BestBuy eGCs on promo - free $5 eGC with $50 eGCs purchase. I used 5 VZW accounts to purchase $500 BB eGCs (VZW has a $100/month limit charged to bill) and used my Chase ink to pay the Verizon bill.

So my total out of pocket is:

$550 - $50 (bonus eGC) - $25 (cashback from Chase Ink) = $475

Thanks! I completely missed this when I picked up some other stuff yesterday. Looks like Apple is clearing inventory out ahead of the 7 launch.

They also have the att version. Should I get that one and call in for the unlock? Now isn't the Verizon comes with unlock by default or I have to go through the unlock request process? Thank you.

Verizon iPhones are unlocked. I have used them all over the world on different carriers and in the US, on AT&T, T-Mobile, etc.

For AT&T, there is a website to request the AT&T unit be unlocked. This assumes the IMEI, etc. are clean for unlocking...

thinking about getting this, but can I have a Page Plus and ringplus subscription at the same time, where I swap out the SIM to change networks? different phone numbers, obviously.

Edit: phone can do both networks according to http://willmyphonework.net. still not sure about signing up for the second carrier while active on 1st, though.
