** We would like to welcome HawiianDawn as the new OP **.

Please thank
thelahaiesfamil for all of her hard work in this thread.**

Being a military spouse has its many challenges. One of the challenges is trying to feed your family on a limited income. I thought it would be helpful to the many of us SD'rs out there that are military or military spouses to have an official Deca/ Commissary thread. There are so many great deals and YMMV by store, but at least here you may be able to look for a deal that you might not have known about before. I HTH someone save a little for thier family!! Enjoy! Smilie

IMPORTANT COUPONING INFO:
Subject = ScotchBrite Coupon

Message
Hi.
I accessed your website and found a $1 off any one product coupon that
expires June 30, 2010. I tried to use the coupon today and was told the coupon is
"fraudulent." However, I found it on your website.
Are you not honoring the coupon you posted?
It certainly is embarrassing to have someone tell me the coupon I got from
a manufacturer's website is fraudulent.
Thanks,
XXXX XXXX

Dear xxxx,

Thank you for contacting 3M regarding our Scotch-Brite(TM) internet printed
coupons.

It is up to the retailers as to which coupons they will accept. This is
still an active coupon. We suggest you try another retailer.

If we can be of further assistance, please feel free to contact us.

Best Regards,

Colleen

Patron Comments: I was told I could not use my Scotch-Brite coupons at the
XXXX AFB commissary because the coupons are fraudulent. The coupons were
obtained from: http://www.3m.com/us/home_leisure...nailsaver/
The current coupon is:
http://www.3m.com/us/home_leisure...coupon.pdf The
coupon available when I printed my coupons was the same coupon, except it
was for $1 off one product. Can you tell me what is fraudulent about these
coupons? Is 3m not honoring them? It certainly is embarrassing to be accused
of trying to use fraudulent coupons when I got the coupons from the
manufacturer's website. Thank you

Dear Ms. XXX

Thank you for accessing the Defense Commissary Agency's web site with your
concern. I apologize for any inconvenience you experienced at the XXX
Commissary.

I cannot tell you why the commissary did not accept your coupon; when a
commissary informs you a coupon is counterfeit, we expect them to be able to
show you the notice. I researched the counterfeit coupon alerts we have
provided to the commissaries and did not find one for Scotch-Brite brand
products.

I am copying Ms. xxxx, Scott Store Director, on this e-mail. I
suggest you contact her at xxx-xxx-xxxx to set up an appointment to meet
with her on your next visit to discuss the specifics of your coupon and the
items presented for purchase.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to address this issue. I encourage
you to continue to take advantage of your commissary benefit and the 30
percent plus overall savings. If you need assistance in the future, please
do not hesitate to contact Ms. xxxx or any member of her management
staff.

Sincerely,

xxxxxxxxx

Walgreens RR CAN be used at the Commissary, see below:

Ms. Lxxxxx,

I don't see anything in the fine print limiting redemption to Walgreen’s,
although naturally they want you to use it there since the promotional money
is being provided for their company! So, yes, the commissary can accept
this.

The Banana Boat $1 TP Q can be used on trial sizes. I have not found any of the trials at my local commissary, but my Target does carry them. They are $.97 so $.03 overage, not bad for sunscreen! HTHSmilie

Hi everyone! Great idea to start this thread. Anyone else notice that the prices always go up when a new Q is issued?? I noticed especially when a diaper Q comes out! Used a Schick Quatro $3 off on the 4 pack disposables - after Q 1.20 (not great but not bad). It also has a $2 off Q inside the package.

Yes, this coupon works great on the trial size. The Maxi Saver had these out for the month of July, and I got a ton of overage with them! Each pack was $1.36 overage! Definitally helps your total go down down down Smilie makes grocery shopping fun again!

Just a little FYI. My hubby likes to receive a copy of the Army Times here at the house. They also put out the AF Times and Navy Times as well. The one year script is $55. 2 year script is $99. And the three year script is $129. For convenience today, I called to renew over the phone today and there is phone only special. (800-368-5718). Yahoo! It was $110 to renew by phone for three years. Makes no logical sense to me since they're paying the credit card fees vs a check that costs them nothing to take. But whatever! Whee Hopefully this will be our last renewal. Whee

I'm here. We finally found out that we're at least getting a 60 day deferrment of our orders (it isn't in stone yet but since our report date is July 10th I hope I can actually believe this) He still has a request in to delete his orders so we'll see.

Haven't been to the commissary in a couple weeks now. I plan on going Sunday after Wags to see if I can find some Dial trial bw. We've been thinking we're moving so we've been eating everything and now I've got to try to restock for at least a month. *sigh*
