I've been trying to get the Microcenter E6P deal for over a week, but couldn't work out getting it up to me (I'm 600 miles away) since it is in store only.

I wanted a 2016 OLED model because they fixed the main problems remaining with the 2015 models (vignetting issues in dark scenes, non standard VESA mounts, no full HDR support). It's now a worthy successor to my Panasonic 65" VT Plasma.

So, I just got off the phone with Cleveland Plasma, an authorized LG dealer, and picked up a 65" OLED E6P for $4150 delivered, which is actually LESS than the Microcenter deal with CA tax (which would have been about $4300).

He said he's doing the 65" B6P for $3150 delivered. Given that this is shipped to your door, and it's an authorized LG dealer, this is the way to go if you don't have a Microcenter in your town or nearby. And if you're in CA, it's actually cheaper than microcenter's deal.

I asked if I could post these hot prices and he said fine, so here we are. Their number is 866-651-0049. Ask for Chris. Website is clevelandplasma.com (soon to be clevelandav.com since plasma is, well...you know).

EDIT: If you're interested in the 55" B6P, Cleveland Plasma is offering it for $2000 in store. I assume it's $2150 or $2250 if you need it shipped.

Here's a review of the E6P at rtings.com that pretty much agrees with other reviewers that the E6P is the one to have if you have the money:

Who are the jokers that voted this down with:

Not a good price - uh, this is the BEST PRICE ANYWHERE currently, unless you're in a state with no sales tax and live near a microcenter (almost no one). And even then, it's only $150 more, delivered to your door. If you have a better deal from an authorized LG dealer, why haven't you posted it? I would have bought that.

Poor Merchant Reputation - If you've had a bad experience with Cleveland Plasma, I WANT TO KNOW. I researched them heavily and saw nothing but good things about them, even from notoriously tough crowds like AVSforum.

Not a good Product - This is the product that's rated number ONE in every TV shootout. Has beaten any and all LCD sets. Someone has to just be goofing to select this one.

Yeah, it turned into more of an adventure than I expected to get the Microcenter price. Lots of places like Adorama, Best Buy, etc wouldn't even TRY to match the Microcenter price and then some of the ones I found that would (ielectrica, etc) weren't authorized dealers. I finally got Cleveland Plasma and Walts, both LG authorized dealers, but Walt's was a few hundred more, so I went with CP.

Checked them out online and they seem to have a really good reputation, so that's a nice thing when you're buying something this expensive.

Bought mine from Chris a few months ago. Highly recommended. Just keep in mind there's no returns.

That's why I used AMEX. Return protection is a feature. Smilie (EDIT: Keep reading, I explain this more later)

But, that said, it's why I went with CP. They seemed really trustworthy and highly regarded from the places I checked. No worries, which is nice on a purchase this big.

I do not understand why most stores won't PM these OLED deals. I understand some retailers cannot lower their prices due to whatever agreement they have with the manufacturer.

They flat out say nope, can't even come close to these prices. If some can, then you surely can to BB come on. I bet you are one happy sob right now? I can only imagine the look on your face when it arrivesStick Out Tongue

What's the difference between the G6 and the E6? Any deals on the G6?

One thing I will say about these TVs is they need good source material. It won't hide the imperfections (compression) as well as a Sammy or Sony.

Beefier soundbar that doubles as the tv stand. That's about it.

Prospective new oled buyer here so pardon my ignorance, Do these tv's have the potential for dead pixels? Not having a return policy would be a bummer if so. Thanks for the info

Also where does it state they are an authorized dealer/reseller? They are not listed on the lg site

No offense, but OP reads like an infomercial.

Amex return protection covers only a few hundred bucks, certainly not $3000.

And yes, Cleveland Plasma is legit.
