This makes me sad, the workers really point out many of the same complaints folks here on SD have reported over the years. Frown

I actually like Sears. I mean where can you roll points and get things for literally free. I usually just get my items shipped instead of going to the B&M store but I have picked up at Sears and it's not that bad. I wouldn't dare shop in the store but pickup usually goes pretty smooth for me unless they can't find something and the rep asks me do I want a substitute. On the other hand I vowed I would never go to my local Kmart to pick up. The last time I waited for an hour because they could find my $50 worth of free boxers.

Agreed. It is completely normal for me to get 30-50% or more back in points. Emails and the SYWR website always contain coupons giving you around 20% back in points if you spend around $50-$75. Then the store all summer and currently has 20% on $50 which stacks. I have gotten two standup Kenmore Elite freezers, a pull behind leaf rake and thousands in dollars of items free with earned points, nothing which I would have received at all other lame stores. If people want to shop elsewhere, their loss. Don't complain then about not having enough money later.

No doubt many of us have learned how to maximize the SYWR program. I've been rolling points for many, many years. That's why I was sad to see this article.

Strange. I remember reading the same article months back somewhere. Definately specific parts I remember word for word. But yet it has a date of 8-27-16.

Edit- Yup. Quick google and found this from June http://bznews.bz/bz/article/100100100101859881
