A lesson on quitting vices from username "bong 420". Funny. Also, kinda being a dick here.
And yet here you are concerning yourself with the failures of others. Very classy Mr. Rockstar.

Do your successes require you to be an arrogant douche to those less fortunate? Or to those simply asking what was likely meant as a rhetorical question? If so, it must be hard to get out of bed and go to work, unless you measure your self-worth entirely by what you earn and the misery you create for others.

And if that's the case, you're not worth much, as I guarantee there are countless people who make more than you and would treat you with the same contempt you're showing here.

So, again, don't be dick.

Fantastic deal if you're in a state that doesn't get hit with tax from Amazon. Fry's is the only store to offer an OLED cheaper, and that was in very limited quantity.

Has an 8.1/10 from rtings: http://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/lg/eg9100

Phenomenal deal! Got this last year for $1500 and LOVE the picture quality - replaced my beloved Plasma and the picture is actually better!

seems like a waste to dish out the extra money for an OLED that isn't 4K. this TV is BEAUTIFUL but it being an OLED adds like an extra $400 to the base sale price on a 1080p set with these same specs.

here come the negs

It depends on your use case. Many people may not benefit from 4k resolution and HDR support is virtually nonexistent at this point and may never be in many forms of media.
Consider briefly how long 1080p has been out and how many people still really only need 720 res.

Oled is the only way to get the best picture quality in dark rooms on dark scenes. Other than buying used plasma. For bright rooms, value, and upscaled fake sharp lines 4K led wins imo. 4K tvs are hit and miss depending on the upscaler quality.
