Amazon has the Infantino Swift Classic Carrier in Black [amazon.com] for $8.88. List price is $20, and Amazons current price is about half the price of the next cheapest seller. According to the three camels, this is by far the lowest price for this ever, Amazons price averages around $16.

Thanks for posting! As a single dad, this is a big help. I have the same one already (but good to have a backup). It worked well to carry my little sub-9lb 10-week old little guy to the park on a walk around a half a mile away with his little almost-3 sister in tow.

He seems to like it a lot. It puts him to sleep bouncing on my dad-bod belly a tad.

I wonder how much better the $60, $100 or even more carriers can be? Can anyone chime in as to what they can really offer that is worth the extra?

PS: Please complain LOUDLY at your local stores if they don't have a changing table in the men's room. So much for equality.

The really expensive slings often seen here sold by REI are extremely durable and full of pockets and slots and other junk best suited for advanced human forms who run in marathons.

I'm a big Ergobaby fan, this pack would work for a little baby, but once they hit 9 months your back/shoulders will be killing you. The Ergo puts the weight on your hips, I've got a hefty 2 year old that I could still carry around for hours and have no soreness.

We got mine from REI, and paid full price (~$130) used it for a year and a half and then it ripped. We took it in and they returned the full price and ordered it from another store. The best part was it was on clearance at the other store(~$60). Best return policy I've ever seen.

Yeah, note the suggested weight limit is 25 pounds, so unless you have a small or malnourished child this carrier is probably best used for the child's first year.

Our son did not like either of the two infantino carriers we tried. Got great deals in both, but one had scratchy seams that rubbed hot spots and the other cut into his thighs. Plus they were not so comfortable for me or my husband. We ended up getting an Ergo 360 and love it. Used a Moby-type wrap for them first 8 weeks though.

Going by the pictures this does not appear to properly support the baby putting stress on the hips. I would find one with better support such as the ergo.
