Thanks! I had the $250 Mega Bloks Technodrome in my cart at TRU LAST NIGHT, but I put it back because I knew if I was patient I could get it for cheaper ;P

This is a great deal for some Lego and Mega-Blocks sets, especially exclusives not widely-available. It does apply to items on sale, such as some Technic and Nexo sets. It works on both shipping and store pickup. As noted in the rules, it does not apply to "hard-to-find" Lego so it does not work on the Lego Creator Expert (such as modular buildings) sets. Bummer, that would have been awesome.

And, thanks to keeleon in the post above, I've now bought a TMNT Technodrome!

So the coupon does work on most other lego sets? NM, not really any deals as all the sets I was looking at last week that were at least 20% off are now back to their inflated Toy-r-us normal price...

Here's another decent deal for a giant box of expenisive plastic for overgrown children with too much money:

Mega Bloks Call of Duty Hovercraft Building Set [toysrus.com] Regular $180, on clearance for $140, bringing it down to $112 after coupon.

Yes, I've been tempted by that one. At $112 it is a pretty amazing price, plus it's an older model in the COD line and may be retired soon (goes for a lot more from other sources).
There was a one-day sale where it was $99 last year, shortly before Christmas. I missed that for some reason, I keep hoping that comes back.

Just combo'd this with the buy 1 get 1 40% off deal they have on certain sets (got some Speed Champion sets that seemed to not suffer from the TRU price hike over MSRP)

Thanks, used this last night and apparently it ran a little past midnight.
Good that it did because checkout has some major bugs if paying fully with gift card and having a credit card on the account that doesn't work (Costco Amex was default - hadn't used my TRU account in a while).
You can't delete and get rid of it either, still wants a valid CVV for a card that isn't on the account anymore, even if you enter a new valid CC# and CVV.
After about 20+ minutes of flailing around with trying different PayPal and other credit cards to no avail, I found out the only way to get it to work was to remove the gift cards, add CVV for a new credit card and select credit card even though gift card covers entire purchase, go to next stage of checkout with valid CC#/CVV set as payment type, go back on step in checkout (browser back button), add Gift Card info again, and proceed to checkout like TRU didn't have massive bugs in it's online checkout code and you didn't waste about a half hour pulling your hair out for what should have taken 2 minutes.
Anyway, rep'd for the deal.
