This is the lowest I've seen a new 27" IPS monitor for in a long time.

Amazon has an LG 27" IPS monitor for $116.75, with free shipping. Many states pay tax, but that's nothing new. Dontknow

It comes with a 1 year warranty, but you can get a 2 year Squaretrade warranty for $3.18.

Would give it a thumbs up but might be dead. Shows price over $200 but if you drop down to the comparison chart it shows $116. Added it to the cart from there but said not available from that seller at that price.

lasted for about an hour, but $126 is still a great price for a 27" IPS monitor

I am confused. I see what you see in that the picture does not appear to be a (16:9) widescreen monitor, but it has a widescreen resolution, good old 16 by 9 1080p. Maybe the picture was smushed? I would be surprised if the pixels weren't square. If I measure the screen in the picture in mspaint it measures less than 16:10 (i got width/height at around 1.58 where 16/9 is 1.78).

Also price is up to $126.

Edit: I'm going with a smushed picture on Amazon. Look at the picture of the back side and the VGA connector looks smushed. It's almost certainly a regular old 1080p widescreen monitor.

I looked at the Amazon pictures, the dimensions and ratio looks plain ugly if not 4:3. that's what I meant. i should have been clearer.

the Asusi had was not ultra widescreen, just regular widescreen and it showed. this one didn't.

Yeah it definitely looks bad in the picture. Even the picture directly from LG's site is skewed. I think I'm going to be avoiding LG productslaugh out loud

I believe you can see what it actually looks like on this page LINK [memoryexpress.com]
