YMMV on eBay seller honoring dead bulb warranty.. the seller I bought from ignored 3 emails requesting RMA/warranty coverage.. better off buying from Walmart or home improvement stores that have good prices

it's called warm white, there is even 2700k. it's good for evenings, or office work. i have 3000k right behind me right now. much easier on the eyes.

i have 5000k elsewhere

I couldn't find the UL listing, I wouldn't just assume if it is marked it was tested by UL. Maybe someone else could list the UL File Number but otherwise I wouldn't trust that mark.

Keep checking Home Depot. They often have 2 for 1 deals or steep discounts when they are trying move inventory.

Depending on how long ago it was, you could also contact eBay or PayPal. PayPal allows you to go back six months or a year for a dispute.
