My dermatologist recommended https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0...ref=plSrch. If you google the studies picaridin has been shown to be equally effective as deet. Don't know about these though

isn't Picaridin another chemical? i guess people are looking for more natural alternatives such as lemon/eucalyptus oil ....if u are ok with chemical solutions, DEET works just fine...

I'll back the recommendation for picaridin, its still a chemical but my skin feels less tacky with it than deet. and it smells a lot better
