This stuff is actually not bad its probably better than Ferragamo F Black as thats a lavender heavy scent which I dont like and consider feminizing(and sapping of male virility making you complacent and day dreamy). Definitely different it almost smells like a berry aquatic not a beast or anywhere close to it but not as weak as many reviews suggest maybe it doesnt project very much but it has ok longevity. I like the scent at this price its not the best bang for the buck cause there are other cheapies that are better but I would say this one is worth 14 bucks so its not punching above its weight but right at it. If you have to have impressive colognes this is not for you but if you are looking to add another bottle in your endless rotation and something different this qualifies. I appreciate the cologne threads but we need to improve them and make them as good as the audiophile posts have gotten.

Use this site as guide for future purchases this list is purely objective data not subjective it is probably a good representation of popularity but not exact ranking of what is truly the best just what people buy and I believe the data is a little twisted for the Brittish male stigma avoidance(promoting european elite niche perfumery and considering all else substandard and not worth attention which is not always true).

Make an account its worth it. This is only the best since the year 2000 if you want before 2000 search the best of the best of the top houses and research the various forums on the internet. If you buy the top 50 from this list you will be pleased with all of them. At first you may think encre noire or vetiver scents are weak but give them some time to grow on you........ there are not as many fakes online as you might think fragrance.net, ebay, fragranceX, lily direct are some good ones. Try Dior Homme Intense that one is beautiful..... Women tend to like cheap or light floral colognes that smell like womens perfume.... I think the top young women likable niche(elite brand) is Amouage Reflections Man because of the jasmine. Mainly men buy cologne for what they like to smell because we dont like what women like to smell and most of the ones at the top of the list women dont like them like Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille or any tobacco scent for that matter. Still I appreciate the internet and the old timey Safety Razor forums and various soaps and brushes. Nice to take a shower shave with that nice soap and try cologne remember to put lotion down first or the skin will absorb it all and your nose will get used to scents thats why you have to collect like 40 bottles and wear a different one every day. I think 20 bottles 3 sprays a day lasts 14 years give or take. Also wearing clothes over where you apply it it will rub off if your gonna wear a shirt probably best to put it on the neck and or behind ears but if you want to sample it yourself probably best to go no shirt on the chest of course this is not in public................

Oh yeah Gucci Pour Homme II I thought it was really weak definitely an office scent but it continues to be popular..... Gucci Pour Homme was better.... Gucci by Gucci pour homme was panned and is said to have poor longevity but it still smells amazing to me people say its generic and been done before but I think its really well executed and a better buy than Pour Homme II(only one in top 50 that didnt really knock my socks off) if you have to have a Gucci. Dior Homme Intense 5oz on deal around Christmas or LIDGE L'Instant de Guerlain Extreme(EDP Version) its hard to go wrong with but they are both heavy and sweet you will need something aquatic or different to break those up or you will get tired of them.

Cologne, Tres Fraiche(Terre de Hermes) < Eau de Toilette(EDT) < Eau de Parfum(EDP) < Parfum, Pure Parfum, Extrait =s Order of Concentration Least to most in oil content even tho 2 perfumes may have the same model name they often come in different concentrations EDT and EDP. EDT is lighter, brighter, more complex(more notes), lasts less 4 to 6 hours, usually smells more youthful. EDP is usually more dense more mature, less complex in notes tho usually they have the same or very similar source notes but are 2 completely different formulations and have to be designed from the ground up you cannot just put less alcohol and make EDP instead of EDT they have to be painstakingly reformulated(and often they take different tacks on the original like the Dior Homme series they are not simply 2 different concentrations but also play up different strengths or aspects of the original like flankers but not usually as radically different as a flanker is) and tested until similar if you took all the notes in an EDT and made the concentration stronger it would smell too busy like an 80s powerhouse cologne with too many notes so EDP is more simple but also richer denser often darker and more mature and lasts over 6 hours some over 8(usually anything that has oud and is woody or ambery) and others over 24(Tom Ford etc etc). There a guide a for the neophytes..........

What do you think about axe body spray? I hear Kilo smells awesome. But many prefer the smell of old spice.

Sorry I wasnt into cologne in middle school so I didnt buy those(I think all I had back then was Eternity man I hate that stuff now cause it was all I had and I wore it going to grade school I remember wearing it to school in the morning and now I just cant stand to think about it)(the cologne that came out in the 00s completely outclassed the stuff from the 90s I think cologne is entering or is in a golden age where note usage has settled down and the real art is taking shape)(kinda like Formula 1 was great in the 80s 90s and 00s then they changed all the rules and it sucks now and the cars are weak and slow so now I watch MOTOGP which has really improved). I heard old spice got better in the last 20 years but I doubt I'll ever try it sorry I'm no help with those..........
