someone posted this in the reviews:

"The cost of the filter and pre filter alone is minimum $60.-$70"

also this one:

"Nicely purifies air so long as ou do not need to talk with people in the
same room or on the telephone in that room. I am ashamed that I waited
until now to realize this air purifier is driving me up the wall and that I
should return it."

Hmm... hard to know a price comparison when, from what I can tell, no one else but WalMurt sells it.

You can clean both and they last a long time

I think if you're going to have to change the filter every 3-5 years, then its definitely worth it, I wonder how clean it makes the air, my cat's hair has taken over my house lol

This is a great purifier, bought it 3 weeks ago for the same price. It's a big purifier, makes a little noise but nothing too crazy, so far works great.

This is a repost of http://slickdeals.net/f/9008123 and the air filter has been in stock since August 12, 2016.

The original thread (before it first went out of stock) has some good info in it:

Definitely a deal!

I bought this in white from Amazon about 6 years ago. I've always used the universal replacement filters since they're a sufficient and less expensive option. I believe I paid about $160. It is noisy (my preference for white noise at night) on its highest setting, but it serves its purpose, IMO. And I did a lot of research prior to purchase.

if you have one of these in a room, and don't put a filter on your actual furnace, think that works OK?

How much air does this move or what's the square footage rating? Surprised that neither is listed in the description.

It's pretty much a 50250, which says:

The 50250-S True HEPA Air Purifier has been AHAM Certified for use in rooms up to 390 square feet. Its certified CADR
