Thread Details

AT&T 2G network will be shutdown by the end of this year.
If you are ATT customer and currently still using a 2G phone, you should received an email offer:

"Exchange your current 2G phone for a FREE LG B470 phone or Samsung J3 smartphone with no additional contract obligations...."

It is free for either of the phone. But if you go smart phone, your monthly fee would be $25 instead of $20.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

I do kind of miss the days when you only had to charge your phone about weekly.

AT&T sent a barcoded coupon - possibly unique code - to take to an AT&T store and exchange a 2G phone for another model (choice of LG B470 or Samsung J3) that will function after AT&T shuts down 2G network.
