This is fine as a round cookie pan, or something like that... but you should really be cooking pizza on a stone. I think I got mine at Kmart last year for under $10.

When I make pizzas (weekly), I make 2 16-inch pizzas from scratch. I currently have 2 of the Oneida 16-inch pans ($3 ea on a 2009 SD). I have a couple pizza stones and a peel, but have found that these pans give me similar, if not better, results. Perfectly crisp, brown bottom crust everytime.

"Should" is a very subjective statement. I like to make both pizzas on the pans, put them in the oven, rotate them, pull them out and slide them out to a cutting board and cut them. Then I slide them back on and set the pans out on the table.

The stone-peel combo is traditional, but much more prone to sticking, leaking, and mess. To each s/his own.
