"Flash" half-price sale on "BRIGHT" plan begins for new accounts tonight Wednesday 8/31/2016 at 5:00PM PST (8PM EST) and runs until 9PM PST or "sold out".

Upgrades for existing planholders will be available on Thursday 9/1/2016 from 7PM PST until "sold out".

For further details as they develop see https://social.ringplus.net/discu...e-or-cut-8

New Accounts

Ringplus is a BYOD plan provider. To open a new account with Ringplus you must either own or plan to own a phone that can be activated on the Sprint MNVO network. To open a new account with an existing phone, start here to check whether your phone is eligib]e for activation on Ringplus. If your phone is eligible you'll be taken from there to screens you can use to register in full.

Upgrades

Existing account holders (including those with totally free accounts you can sign up for at any time) will also be able to replace their existing plan with this one by doing so during the flash period designated for upgrades. Flash upgrades are generally made available through RIngplus "classifieds" (https://social.ringplus.net/class.../items/all) and/or as an upgrade selection initiated at the upper right hand corner of the "dashboard" associated with the account. (If you don't see it in one area, try the other.)

Note that upgrades often "sell out" quickly (sometimes within minutes) so to do this be logged into your account and ready to go by 7PM PST

*Ringplus reserves the right to substitute ads for ring-tones to subsidize this plan.
This is also considered responsible for adding latency (delay) above and beyond the usual, so be aware.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Why would I want to get rid of my free plan that offers 4gb of data and switch to basically a unlimited talk and text plan. Not bashing just weird you can wait for there free plans that they bring back on holidays like Labor day

Ads (latency/delay) + $2 a month with only 250MB data. Why would anyone want it?
Many free plans have over 3000MB data...
Those people voted for this plan are crazy/idiots.
There are many better plans should be Cut the price in half.
Wasted a whole week for lame deal.

And where the fark M+ vote? Did this company forget about their M+ customers?

No way... An early riser post or late-nite one here... I gonna have to suspend going to sleep now thanks...

Okay why they vote for this plan.... This wont even be kid friendly, unless you give them this plan on a flip-phone...and then they'll hate you, and call you a cheapskate ...

Rep for the OP... But TD on this weeks deal, Maybe there holding out for the un-Labored Day plan.... Lol

.... Okay back to bed.

To OP This plan not showing up in App when searching Ringplus...strange, oh well.

I wanted Cut Michelson, $4.50 top up, no recurring charges, can always try for an F5 free upgrade down the road. A nice replacement for the low top up plans they got rid of. But the posters on social seem fixated on the paid Mad plans.

Truthfully, this plan will be lucky to sniff two dozen signups. Every week fewer and fewer are voting because they disallow plans people actually care about like Rueben and Barbecue Brisket so only the meh plans can be winners.

I'll thumbs up this deal. some of us pay for phone service (flip phones) for our parents who refuse smart phones
or say they cant' use them, and this is definitely a cheaper alternative.. plus being a ringplus subscriber we need
them to have all the revenue sources they can to stay afloat to keep giving us free service (woot woot just got in on that brisket)

Obviously this plan caters to people that care more about voice and text minutes than they do data. In that case, the Mad Brisket plan they offered a few days ago would have been much more preferable since they offered direct Sprint connection on voice. The bonus was a lot more data also and obviously no monthly fee. Hope they bring back more "Mad" like free plans.

Best bet will probably be eBay. Just either get the MEID # and run it through the device checker before you buy or ask the seller to do it. You could also check the Classifieds section on RP.

TVM for the suggestion.

I've recently sent inquiries to 3 Ebay sellers. They have not responded. Q: Should I venture into the CL morass?

Sure, if you want to give your parents a phone that might leave them stranded because they have no coverage. I wouldn't give RP to my worst enemy.

New from Ting for $57 - https://ting.com/shop/Motorola-Mo...n-New-CDMA

Refurb from TextNow for $9.99 + $13.99 for plan - https://www.textnow.com/wireless/device/21

The TextNow Moto E may need to be flashed with stock firmware to work.

what makes you think your worst enemy will take a gift from you:
at best they'll think the line is bugged
at worst they may think you are giving them something explosive or something to track them to finish the job later Smilie

put parents onto ringplus from ultra, they hate it, constant dropped calls, bad voice quality, spotty service, switching them back to ultra on the 1st
