You can splice in any 12V DC adapter, I have a box full of old adapters lying around. It does kind of suck that one isn't included but hey its 5 bucks.

I'm hooking mine straight to a solar panel & 12v battery. Nice find OP.

Still buying even though debbie downer says that they get an "F" from some website that pretty much tells your cheap stuff on amazon might not long lasting quality. Thanks

What about mA? 1000mA, 2000mA?

I think I'd rather pay the $6.49 w/o coupon code for the Day White - https://www.amazon.com/Waterproof...01E3LU1SC/

Thanks to saving up every 2-5A 12V PS I run into, I can power quite a few of these. I'm hoping 2 rolls will be enough for some decent under cabinet lighting in the kitchen. I have 25W halogens under there, and they're too yellow and too hot.

They claim you need a 20W adapter so 2000mA would be better, but it only shows a 4W draw on their listing so 1000mA should be fine for one string.

It's easy enough to go buy some better tape or secure the lights another way so it wasn't a huge problem but worth mentioning.

No regrets about going full RGB in the kitchen for under cabinet lighting. Kitchens tend to be a focal points in a house, and being able to change the color for parties and to accent seasonal decorations has been great. Also, I'd not use anything but waterproof in the kitchen as you'll at minimum likely have steam exposure if near the stove or sink.

Edit : The SD image shows Non-Waterproof, but on Amazon it is clearly identified as waterproof.
