I can't believe this hasn't been posted, you rarely see deals on Seagull guitars. They make excellent guitars comparable to guitars twice their price. I own two Seagulls already and was very tempted to buy this. Stupid Deal of the Day will change after today.

I too love Seagull. But I found this guitar to not resonate well when I recently tested it in a store. I figured it was a thick laminate top. Looks pretty though.

I would find this slick at $299.

I agree. I had a seagull and couldn't make it sound well.

Love Seagull guitars. I bought a seagull guitar 20 year's ago. It still sounds great.

I had a seagull S6, sounded bland. My lower-end Washburns and G series Cedar Takamine sound better.. to my ears . No way would I pay $350 for this. I have an Ibanez PN12E parlor I paid $159 for on sale that I love.

Aren't Seagull Guitars made in Canada? I would trust a Canadian guitar's quality over anything from China.

Why? Probably 99% of all the electronics in your house, your phone, the computer you're on now, half the parts in your car, are made in China. The Seagulls are made well, but no better than many cheaper priced Chinese manufactured acoustics by the usually suspects. All my Chinese made guitars are virtually flawless in construction and finish.

I'm gonna have to disagree with you. I have some Ibanez guitars made in China and they are decent guitars and look great but they don't feel quite as solid as the North American made guitars that I have. I end up playing my MIM Fender and Canadian made Seagull more than anything.

You're going to disagree that all my Chinese guitars are virtually flawless? It's not my opinion, it's reality, lol. Sound is subjective, so is set-up and playability, build quality.. not so much. I've owned four Godin guitars over the years, A Wild Cherry (looked great, sounded like a cardboard box), an S6, a Maritime and a Simon Patrick something or other. All were built well, and sounded "ok", but none sounded special to my ears. My Ibanez AC400CEDVS is built as good, plays as well and sounds as good as probably any Martin or Taylor I've owned. In fact I sold my GS-Mini to buy it.
