SVS Labor Day refurb sale. These are lower than their standard refurbished prices by around 5%. For a great company with a great product that doesn't really go on sale, this is a great deal. Full disclosure and pictures of each individual item are on the item pages.

http://www.svsound.com/collection...t-specials

PB-1000: $429.99
PB-2000: $649.99
PB12-PLUS: $999.99
PB13-ULTRA: $1699.99 - $1799.99

Cylindrical and bookshelf speakers also available, but I'm not aware of the normal prices for these, and how good of a deal this is.

Amazing subs. Even 1000 is amazing and beats many of consumer grade subs easily. One day I can afford them or find a better deal.

2x svs pb-2000 or 1x PSA v1800 for about the same price?

Probably a better question for avsforum.

These are pretty much the same prices on the outlet since the last SVS deal popped up, which was 8/12. HTH

You can always build your own for a similar price, just buying the components as you get the money. If you do a high-quality 15" with a 500-1000watt amp, and follow advice on DIY sites, you'll be able to build something that will destroy these. These are just the best bang-for-the-buck for assembled subs

These or Hsu subs are amazing products and will surpass anything you'll get in this price range.

They dropped all their prices $50-$100 for this deal.

In my experience once an item has been in the outlet for 2-3 weeks they'll drop the price $50-$100, regardless. I got a PB13-Ultra for $1399 a few months ago because it was in the outlet for a long time.

That being said I just picked up an Ultra Tower today when they dropped the prices to $699 to match the one I got a month ago for $349 (though I think that was a price mistake they honored).

Awesome speakers and subs.

The PB1k and 2k are excellent subs for these prices.... the other two more expensive ones... less so.... (they're still excellent subs, but better ones have come along in the years since they first came out at similar pricing... especially the PB13Ultra)

If you have a room with multiple seating positions, dual subs really are beneficial in smoothing out the frequency response within the room, in addition to increased SPL. Two PB-2000's have the potential to deliver more output in the 16-25Hz range than a single V1800. A single V1800 however, will have substantially more output than dual PB-2000's from 30-100Hz.

Yeah, but that ignores the WAF or aesthetic factor.

I was skeptical, especially since I would never have thought that I would drop more than $200 on a subwoofer. I picked up an SB-2000 during their Memorial Day sale for $599 and it sounds wonderful; such a better value than I could have gotten at a place like Best Buy.

My only regret, though, is that I didn't just get a Dayton 15" DIY kit from Parts-Express for about half the price.
