I am in need of a router but, does anyone own this thing? Router any good? I live in a two story house and my tv/entertainment center is at the opposite end of the house so, I need one with range and reliability.

Hardwire if not possible try powerline adapters much better throughput for something that needs alot of bandwidth although YMMV with outside factors coming into play(distance quality of wire interferance).

I did not have anything bad to say about this router when I used it but I found the units with the 2-3 external antennas provided a better signal.

Definitely cannot hardwire... I am not that familiar with powerline adapters but thanks for the input. Ill check it out.

Well right. I am sure that is true. That is the issue. I dont want to spend a lot of money getting wifi from my internet to downstairs, and I am sure entry level AC routers are not going to be the best in the world for speed. I am just trying to have the ability to watch movies through my wifi blu-ray player downstairs.

Thanks for posting. It is of very minimal use as they basically disallowed use of both promotion codes and free shipping.

Been working great for my entertainment system and network. Have 7 items plugged in plus my cable and Ethernet running through it.

you need a promotion code to reduce the price. Fry's emails you specific codes for the discount. you'll most likely not receive a promo code immediately if you sign up for their promo specials today.
