I've had an alert set for this for about a year. I haven't seen it lower than this price, and B&H is the only shop that I've seen offer it at this price on the ODAT section of their site (and fairly infrequently!).

I have two 24" Dell IPS monitors of different vintage (U2412 and U2415) that I use for photo processing / editing, and side-by-side it's easy to see the calibrations are quite different from each other. The Spyer5PRO should be able to set me straight.

Solid seller, good price for a well-reviewed product... finally had to pull the trigger.

Yes, it works as you'd expect. The profile created with the included software automatically sets the video profile with the profile created in the calibration process.

Just keep in mind when you're calibrated and a good part of the world isn't and when someone says that doesn't look right, ask them if they're calibrated.

There are other ways to "manually calibrate your screen" and get it close enough, but it takes an hour or so on your first attempt.

These rarely go on sale... I really wanted one of these since more than 5 years ago, but the very few times I see it on sale I convince myself it's too expensive for what it does. I wish they just rent these out for like $5 a day.

Hmmmm, hard to justify getting this since I rarely do photo editing =/. But on the other hand, I really want all my displays to be properly calibrated...

Great deal and the best option out there IMO if you missed the x-rite i1 for $129 a few weeks ago.

FYI - i had the Spyder 3 and they just stop to support them after a while. Mine stopped working with Yosemite so i'm forced to buy a new one. So this prob has a life expectancy of 2-3 yrs before they'll phase it out again.

Has anyone tried using one of these on a TV? I'm using Windows 7 Media Center and just haven't been able to get the color looking right.

How is this compared to ColorMunki Display? Which one is better?
