Not true. All of them just meet the "minimum" standard set by government. Some car seats perform better than others in crash test category. If you are subscriber of consumer reports, you will see which car seat has "best", "better", and "basic" crash test rating. Bottom line, not all car seats are made the same.

A good deal if you're interested in these model/color combinations, but overall there are only six total to choose from and are their lowest tier of seats.

Lowest tier? All car seats sold in the US are regulated for safety specs.

Of course they are. That said, Britax sells, for example, three different model Harness-2-Booster seats with three different price points and an increasing number of convenience and safety features. You can see a comparison chart on Amazon's product page.

Don't have access to consumer report. Is any of the on sale Britex convertible car seat rated best in the Consumer report?

This is not true for the infant car seat. The B-Safe 35 Elite is Britax's highest model. Personally I purchased their non-elite version since I didn't want the non-removable headrest.

MADE IN THE USA!

I have a CR subscription. Marathon Click Tight (different than what is listed here) is the second highest rated option behind Chicco NextFit. I'm in the market for a convertible car seat but none of these are "top notch" according to CR. Yes, I'm sure these on sale ones meet the minimum safety standards but I'll wait for now.

Presence (or lack) of known flame retardants is a factor when considering Britax

Realize that none of these are click-tight, but I have a Britax with click-tight and it is the greatest feature. Takes about 2 minutes to put the car seat in or take out.

One of Consumer Report's "best buys" is a booster for 35 bucks. So more money doesn't necessarily mean "better" in the car seat world.
