I have these. Very comfortable shoes. I used to buy Nikes, never more. I am not much of a runner, but I sometimes have issues with plantar fasciitis. (sp?) these are heavenly.

These aren't running shoes! They are trainers. This means they aren't designed for walking or running, so they will wear out much faster during these activities and not provide the correct support, especially for running. These are meant for sideway movements like taking a class at the gym.

What you say is a good point - not always good to wear trainers for endurance running. Not sure why you think they'd be bad for walking, though. Also good for some light running. A trainer is just a generic multi-function running shoe. This is not a court shoe or anything.

Not an expert, from what I've read it is a difference between forward and back movements versus sideways movements. These aren't built for consistent forward and back movements lick running and a lot of walking.
I guess I can't say they'd be bad for walking, I can just say they aren't built for a lot of walking.

I've always wondered about this issue, running, trainers, and walking, I don't run or train for that matter just do a lot of walking for my job, so I'm never sure what kind of shoe to buy, I generally just end up buying whatever one is on sale with the best color combo.

Unhelpful/unfunny comment in 3.. 2.. 1..

'Not designed for walking or running'.

So... I guess you better (learn how to) float, stand still or crawl when wearing these? :-)

Or are they just for mounting on the 'wall of shoes' some dudes have in their basement? Nah. I think the 'wall of shoes' thing is just for Nike Air Jordan.

Thanks OP got one. I needed a new pair of Cross Trainers AKA non dedicated running/walking sneakers.
For the haters, bro not everyone wants a specific pair of kicks for each activity they take part in.
