Thread Details

WalMart has the following on clearance.
Westinghouse 2000mAh 18650 4pk for $3. Clear packaging.
Duracell 1000mAh 18500 2pk for $4. Says for solar outdoor lights.

This is B&M only can be found in the lawn and garden area.

I think I saw them this spring while waiting in line at the garden center checkout, and just assumed they were some kind of proprietary solar light batteries.

Apparently they're unprotected cells. If my local Walmart has them for $3, I may grab a pack or two and use them for my bike headlight, or cheapo flashlights.

Garbage batteries.

The "Duracells" are rebranded crap cells. P&G should be ashamed to brand them "Duracell," but suckers buy them, so who cares, right?

The Worstinghouses are, likewise, just a name, with no meaning anymore. The time when Westinghouse meant something is decades in the past.
